SO EXCITED!

Sp the other day I had a completely RANDOM shoot proposed to me. Simple images of some extremely excited people. Even though the deadline was next to impossible, I took on the challenge. I rounded up a couple of friends Deirdre Epperley, Nathan Presley, and Rebeka Hamilton and asked them to just act nuts. A couple of hours later, these are what we came up with. I had so much fun with this and even though the company changed their mind on what they wanted last minute, I’m still glad this happened.

Great day with great friends. Thanks so much guys! You’re the best!

AND of course I had to add some of my favorite outtakes =]

The Big Easy

Hey everyone! Been a WHILE since my last post. Thought that I should really get back into it so here I am!

Might as well start with my most recent trip to New Orleans. Had the opportunity to spend a week in the Big Easy with my Aunt, Uncle, and Cousins! It was a ton of fun and can’t wait to go back soon!

Here are my favorite images from the trip!

Rock and Ice Photo Camp

A few weeks ago I went along with Keith who was teaching at a workshop for hopeful climbing photographers put on by the climbing magazine Rock and Ice. I got to hang out with some really great climbers and really great people along with being able to shoot some cool photos!

Here are my two favorite from the trip!

Carlo Traversi climbing “Eighth Day”, a 5.13a gorgeous blue streak limestone route in Rifle, CO.

Keller Rinaudo also climbing “Eighth Day” in Rifle, CO.

Tulsa Time

A few weeks ago I went home to see my family for a few days. One particular day, a bunch of friends of mine were going bouldering at a place we call Zen Pen. I, of course, barely got any climbing in because I seem to not be able to ever put my camera down.

I just got around to finally putting these photos up. Sorry it took so long guys!

Emily Harrington

This is Emily. An amazing climber who was in Spain with us for a while. She is arguably one of the strongest female climbers around. And she is just a genuine sweet heart. I really enjoyed the time I got to spend with her.

Sam Elias

This is a really awesome pro climber, Sam Elias. I shot a few photos of him for him to use on his blog and what not. Thought these were pretty cool shots, so I’ll throw them up on here.

Climbing Silhouettes

These are just a few random Silhouettes I shot that I thought looked pretty awesome. The first one is of the legend that is Chris Sharma working arguably the hardest route in the world right now. Very impressive and humbling watching him climb. The second is of my boss, Keith Ladzinski, as he hangs from the side of the cliff shooting Chris climb. Third is what I get to look at pretty much every day when we are shooting. I’d say I have a pretty cool job.

Margalef, Spain

A beautiful day in Margalef, Spain with the greatest rock climber in the world, Chris Sharma. Don’t have a lot of photos that I’m able to post, but this one I can! The closer shot of the climber is of Chris’s best friend Christian who is an amazing rock climber as well! Great guys, would love to go back one day!

Portrait with a Pet

Of all of the portraits I had to shove in less than 2 weeks before I left to move to Colorado and go to Spain.. This one is my favorite.

I was assigned to shoot a portrait of someone with their pet and who better than my good friend Harvey who has been training this dog to be a therapy dog. Harvey is one of the nicest, all around just greatest guys you will ever meet. He was so awesome to drive out to Chandler Park in Tulsa to shoot this image for me. He owns his own climbing and guiding business so I knew I had to get him in front of some cool looking rock walls. His dog August, aka August Orange Beard the Destroyer, is just as sweet as Harvey is.

I was so happy with this image it made all the stress of everything  I was having to do before I left all worth it.

Natural Light

Shoot a portrait using only natural light. Another fairly simple assignment.  Get a pretty girl and put her next to a window.
